Starcraft 2 Beta Release Date Set
Starcraft 2, one of the most, if not the most anticipated game this 2009 is nearing its Beta Stage. Blizzard has officially already set a final date for it (though the date is still being kept secret). This was posted at StarcraftWire and I’m letting you guys know (in case you haven’t yet).
I know, I know, this isn’t really good news but at least we could now really expect it to be released this year.
I’ve also reposted this Starcraft 2 Beta Release Date Info Summary:
* Blizzard has a fixed date for the beta, however, it’s still a secret.
* The multiplayer part of the game is basically done, except for a few details.
* There will be several opportunities to participate in the beta to come (including competitions, perhaps a kind of story competition or similar).
* In the current build (internally at Blizzard), there is a Dark Pylon with a cool ability, which enables Probes to harvest faster within the reach of the Pylon.
* The Command Center can now use a new cool ability that creates a “bigger” SCV which is better at harvesting.
* Supply depots can be upgraded to give +2 Supply
I will continue monitoring the gaming scene for the Starcraft 2 Beta Release Date and if anything comes up, I would make sure that everyone of you guys will know.
